Terms for creators and paid members.
These terms explain the basic responsibilities for creators, customers, and GuildPass when using the platform to sell and manage paid Discord memberships.
Platform role
GuildPass provides software for creator-run Discord memberships: Stripe Checkout, Stripe Connect, membership status tracking, Discord OAuth, bot-based role automation, customer recovery, and creator dashboard tools.
GuildPass is not the owner or moderator of creator Discord servers. Creators control their community content, access rules, pricing, member communications, and promised benefits.
Payments and refunds
Customer membership payments are processed by Stripe through the creator's connected Stripe account. GuildPass does not hold creator customer membership funds.
Unless a creator clearly states a separate refund policy, paid memberships are not automatically refundable. Refund questions should be directed to the creator responsible for the community.
Discord access
After a successful subscription and Discord activation, GuildPass can assign the selected paid Discord role. When Stripe reports that a subscription is canceled, unpaid, inactive, or ended, GuildPass may remove that role automatically.
If a cancellation is scheduled for the end of a paid period, access may continue until Stripe confirms the membership has fully ended.
Creator responsibilities
Creators are responsible for server moderation, member safety, community rules, taxes, compliance, support, refunds, and ensuring their Discord server follows Discord and Stripe policies.
Creators must not use GuildPass for illegal content, deceptive offers, harassment, spam, fraud, payment abuse, or activity that violates Discord, Stripe, or applicable law.
Customer responsibilities
Customers must use accurate checkout and recovery information, respect creator community rules, and avoid attempts to bypass payment, coupon limits, Discord role automation, or access controls.
Memberships may be revoked for community rule violations, payment failure, fraud, abuse, chargeback misuse, or Terms of Service violations.
Service availability
GuildPass depends on Stripe, Discord, hosting providers, databases, and webhooks. Temporary delays or outages may affect checkout, activation, DMs, announcements, or role sync.
